• Born and raised in Gwinnett County  and graduate of Parkview High School

• Degree in Construction Management from Georgia Southern University

• Married to Ivy for 25 years

• Two daughters:  Amelia is a Senior at University of Tennessee and Audrey is a sophomore at Georgia Southern University

• Duluth resident for 25 years

• Member of Duluth First United Methodist Church, Usher, Board of Trustees

• Formerly served on Duluth Board of Ethics

• Volunteer for Duluth Fall Festival
